Training Manager
Location: Canberra, Australia
SystemWare-Pacific Pty Ltd assist in the design and development of complete hardware and software applications for the test and measurement, signal frequency management, signal intelligence, and communication device-monitoring market. This is done in conjunction with our partner organisations in Australia and the United States. We currently provide systems to Governmental customers in the Australia / New Zealand area of Operations.
Due to growth, we have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Training Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting training delivery in accordance with company customer requirements to a very high professional standard and effectively manage all company training accounts.
- Developing an intimate working knowledge base of all company and company represented product lines and services.
- Contribute to and manage the development of new training as required.
- Managing the companyˇ¦s ˇ§Registered Training Organisationˇ¨ status and coordinate future training services in accordance with national competency based standards.
- Develop key training strategies and plans for existing and future deliverable company systems and services as generic and editable documents.
- Use your technical expertise and judgment to implement solutions to improve help desk efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong technical communications skills
- Strong skills in resource allocation and managing different skills within a team
- Experience supporting business applications such as MS Windows (XP), MS Office (essential) and MS Access (preferred)
- Experience in troubleshooting PC hardware issues
- Strong customer service ethics and a desire to help people get the most out of their software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Certificate IV in Vocational Workplace Training and Assessment
- Either currently possess or retain the ability to attain an Australian Government related Security Clearance
As we currently conduct training and various other support throughout Australia, the ability to undertake regular interstate
travel for periods up to two weeks is essential. International travel may be required periodically.
